Shelly Bock

Shelly BockA veteran educator, Shelley Bock is a former middle school teacher and library media specialist. As Assistant Director at the Research and Curriculum Unit, she oversees the operations of the administration office, art and publications, and the RCU Media Center. She also works on multiple special initiatives, projects, and research, including endeavors in professional development, curriculum, and assessment for career and technical educators as well as workforce development for Mississippi’s business and industry.

It is Shelley’s hope that the work she does has an impact on preparing Mississippians to be a highly trained workforce, who in turn enhance the economic environment and quality of life in our state. As an ALHP board member, her goal is to make connections with Mississippi’s K-12 and postsecondary education leaders to leverage resources for the recruitment of potential fellows.
