Dr. Lynn Holt

Lynn Holt is Professor of Philosophy and Head of the Department of Philosophy and Religion at MSU. His research has explored the role of the virtues in achievement in areas as diverse as baseball and astronomy. Most recently, he has focused on the roles of wisdom, honesty, courage and imagination in the conduct of science. As an ALHP advisory board member, he aims to instill an appreciation and understanding of the virtues of character and intellect in future leaders. An avid golfer, he hopes to shoot his age before reaching 70.
