George R. Purnell

George Purnell (MSU c/o ’78) is co-owner of Jubilations Cheesecakes in Columbus, MS, and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for National Steaks and Poultry in Tulsa, OK. During his 27-year career, George has been successful in the food and foodservice industry, but he is passionate about his ongoing community service through Boy Scouts, First United Methodist Church of West Point, The United Way, North Mississippi Medical Center of West Point, and both private and public schools in West Point.

George is married to his wife of 27 years, Luann. He and Luann have two children: Susie (22) and Ray (18). Everyone in the Purnell family is a member of the Great Bulldog Nation.
